| Standardization of ionizing radiation, international comparison of established standards, and dissemination into domestic organizations maintaining secondary standards and into developing countries are performed. The units used are exposure (C/kg), air kerma (Gy = J/kg) and absorbed dose (Gy). Development of photon fluence standards for soft X-rays from synchrotron radiation is carried out as well as precise measurements on related physical constants. |
