| The Radioactivity and Neutron Section maintains and disseminates primary national standards of radioactivity that cover a wide range from environmental to therapeutic level. We are developing new techniques to precisely measure radiations such as a, b, g rays and neutrons. We also maintain and disseminate primary national standards of neutron emission rates from Cf-252 and Am-Be RI sources and mono-energetic neutron fluence generated with accelerators.
